Those words of appreciation makes me holding the classes worth every bit the effort.
- 3/4 cups flour
- 3/4 cups cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
Method:~
- Sieve all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter & sugar till fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well in between each egg.
- Add the vanilla essence.
- Add the dry ingredients alternating with the buttermilk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
- Pour into the cupcake liners.
- Bake in a preheated 180ÂșC oven for 15 minutes.
- When cool, ice with frosting & decorate as desired.
Frosting
Ingredients:~
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
Method:~
- Sieve the icing sugar & cocoa powder together.
- Add the icing sugar gradually, alternating with milk until it has a smooth consistency.
- Spread on top of the cooled cupcakes.
